Pakistan Youth Outreach is an initiative of Mr. Mirza Ali a famous mountaineer. The program was initiated to work for the common man particularly, youth and women with an aim to encourage and give awareness to youth about outdoor education, activities for a healthy environment, mountaineering, training, and promotion of woman adventure in Pakistan.
PYO has organized very successful mountain climbing expeditions in Karakorum Pakistan in past and now plans to organize Mountain Climbing Expedition for Gender Equality to Mount Everest “First Pakistan Gender Equality Mount Everest, 2013. PYO has never been funded In Pakistan and their expeditions have always been supported by foreign friends. Dr. Muhammad Amjad CEO of Leads Pharma (Pvt) Ltd. Keeping in view the keen interest of Mr. Mirza Ali and the work he has done to promote mountaineering in Pakistan, donated Medical kit and medicines for their Mount Expedition 2013. In Mr. Mirza Ali’s words:
“THIS IS FOR THE FIRST TIME WE RECEIVED ANY KIND OF SUPPORT FROM ANY LOCAL FIRM or organization in Pakistan. I never got any positive response as people are unaware of Mountain adventure. I hope in the near future people like Dr.Amjad who supported us this time, will understand Mountain climbing as a great sports! We are thankful to Dr.Amjad for his great support of this Historical Mountain climbing Expedition!”
